SQUASHY STUDIOS AND GAMBLING OPERATOR LEOVEGAS COLLABORATE ON DESIGNING A NEW ONLINE SLOT For Canada Players
At Squashy Studios, we’re always pushing boundaries in the online casino world—and now, we’re proud to announce our latest venture in partnership with LeoVegas Canada: a brand-new online slot game designed specifically with Canadian players in mind.
While we’ve previously focused on table game development (think Blackjack and Roulette), we couldn’t ignore the rising popularity of online slots in Canada. So, we’ve teamed up with the experts at LeoVegas Canada to launch something epic—The Curse of the Mummies Tomb.
WHY CANADIANS LOVE ADVENTURE-THEMED SLOTS
Before diving into graphics or game mechanics, we sat down with the team at LeoVegas Canada to explore what themes resonate most with players across the country. Their insights were clear: Canadians love slots that tell a story—especially those inspired by ancient mysteries and heroic quests.
Games like Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead and John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen perform exceptionally well with Canadian audiences. So, we leaned into that adventure-meets-archaeology vibe and built an Egyptian-themed slot packed with gripping visuals and a bold, new explorer character (whose name we’re keeping under wraps… for now).
CRAFTING A SLOT EXPERIENCE FOR CANADA’S PLAYERS
LeoVegas didn’t just guide the theme—they also helped refine the slot’s mechanics and bonus features. We already knew the essentials—wild symbols, scatter symbols, multipliers—but it was LeoVegas’ feedback on bonus round engagement that truly elevated the game.
With their support, we’ve created a free spins feature and an interactive bonus round that adds a whole new level of excitement. Many slots fall flat here, but ours is designed to keep Canadian players coming back for more.
THE CURSE OF THE MUMMIES TOMB – A TOP NEW SLOT SOON AVAILABLE AT LEOVEGAS CASINO Canada
We are excited to announce the name and premise of this new casino slot. However, there is still much work to do, and the game is not yet ready for release or demo play testing.
When playing The Curse of the Mummies Tomb, players will be faced with some cool and frightening characters like rotting mummies, fiendish scarab beetles, and of course, our intrepid adventure (who’s name we are not yet going to release!). I addition, you can expect a unique bonus round mechanism, and of course some top jackpot prizes.
